Speaking of summer—you probably were, right?—Schwarz, the Deep in the Game DJ/Unruly young gun, appears to be having good times here with the Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t it Be Nice.” It’s a club remix in the proper sense, and the chopping and dicing of the track kinda makes it sound like Panda Bear minus any and all reverb, done up with the requisite filthy, nasty club beat. The saxophone clip about halfway through has the added benefit of coyly quoting pre-club house music, intentional or not. If you thought the cool-kids beach ‘n’ weed wave of the past whatever years was missing some dirt, sex, and punctuation, this is a nice start.

This EP is like a disco inferno! The title track is a solid French disco-dance track w/ funky bass samples and vocals reminiscent of Hip House, but much more sexy & next-level. Dcup's remix is even sexier and has some ornarmentation for the fancy blender DJs.
Of course, Big Dope P's remix rolls thru like a scud missile made of re-sampled NanoDots- I'm not too keen on the Juke thing, but when I play it I always play his tracks!
And, not just cuz it's Scottie B, I think his remix is among the strongest - very different than the original, it really bumps and is a Bmore Rmx in the truest sense.
